Spook joined our family in Athens, OH, when a friend had to move to an apartment that did not allow pets. Once Spook got used to our family she became the best friend for Spike for a number of years and was tolerant of both Gipsy and Bruno. Spook was an expert at catching moths and spiders, announcing her kills (generally in the middle of the night) with an eerie howl. Spook had to be put-down by Dr. Pete at the Milliron Clinic when she became seriously ill with an incurable bacterial infection of her peritoneum.
