Beau's Adventures Episode One
Beau, an American English Coonhound (aka Redtick Coonhound) mix*, joined the Ann (Mom) and Jim (Dad) pack on April 16, 2021, when he was about 3-1/2 months old. He and his siblings had been brought to Minnesota from Alabama by Secondhand Hounds Animal Rescue. Beau was named Arrow by the good folks at Secondhand Hounds, and enjoyed a brief holiday with his brother, Ace, and his caring foster family while he recuperated from an ear infection. He is happy making discoveries in his own yard, enjoying long walks through the near-by woods, playing tug-of-war with his favorite rope toy, and getting to know the people who love him in his forever home.
* DNA results from Embarkvet.com revealed that Beau is 59.9% American English Coonhound, 27.7% Australian Cattle Dog, 12.4% Supermutt (which may include DNA from Golden Retriever, Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, and German Shepherd). His "Wolfiness" is 2.1%.

It has been exactly one year since I came to live with Mom and Dad. Mom took me for a special long walk today. Dad threw my ball for me until I got tired.
