Image

Prophase (top), metaphase, anaphase, and telophase of mitosis in an onion root tip as visualized with confocal scanning laser microscopy.

The confocal scanning laser microscopy images are presented as stereo pairs for viewing with a standard stereo viewer or map-reading device, or by relaxing and crossing your eyes until the right and left images fuse into one.
